A life dedicated to nature

As a child you could always find Dan climbing trees, collecting cool rocks, and immersing himself in nature. And when he got old enough, he began working summers at his grandfather’s landscaping business.

His love for nature took him on an incredible journey. After receiving a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Guelph he vowed to use his new skills to make a difference in the community. He worked with many landscapers throughout the years, gaining new skills and valuable experience.

In 2019, he started Dancor Landscapes and hasn’t looked back.

Urbanization has caused a significant increase in impermeable surfaces, with a negative impact on the environment. Far too many properties have been completely paved over with no consideration for how it affects the overall ecosystem.

Dan went over and above by explaining the principals of his company, how he likes to work with native plants, how he studied sustainable landscaping and how he is able to take in to consideration the big picture of what you are trying to achieve. We were supplied a visual graphic of our house and what the front yard would look like after his work. This gave us an ability to switch things around and fine tune before closing the deal. It also ensures both parties are in full agreement of what is being completed. Dan and his team showed up on time and on schedule.
